I'm using a DDEV based environment I set up for Hubzilla dev work. You can find it here:

And I've put up some docs for it here:

It's basically a wrapper around docker that takes care of the boring stuff for you. I've added a few niceties to it to make some Hubzilla specifics easier. Like setting up a test db, running the unit tests, generating coverage reports, running PHPStan static analysis on the code etc.

Which reminds me: I have some updates I need to finish documenting and push soon.
